For National Military Appreciation Month we want to thank all veterans and current military members for their service and sacrifice. We also want to highlight the valuable skills and qualities many veterans bring to their post-military careers.

Veterans Have A Competitive Edge

Veterans possess unique skills, are highly adaptable and understand the importance of professional responsibility, all of which can be extremely beneficial and easily make for a successful post-military career in a variety of businesses.

With the intensity of military training and experience working in a highly structured environment, veterans usually have the following transferable experience, skills and qualities:

  • Leadership training and/or experience
  • Collaboration
  • Analytical thinking
  • Consistent goal setting and evaluation habits
  • Awareness of compliance guidelines, rules and regulations
  • Stress management capabilities
  • Resilience

A Dedicated Resource for Employment

We offer retired military, military spouses, and military family members a variety of jobs throughout Northwest Florida. Additionally, we help find local, quality jobs for former military and their family members by partnering with the following programs:

  • Military Spouse Partnership Program – Landrum is proud to connect those who served our country and their spouses with local job opportunities through our partnership with the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP).

“As a military spouse, it is difficult coming to a new place and not having many connections… But I’m so thankful that I stumbled upon Landrum and got connected.” – Greer Killman Douglas

  • Fleet and Family Support Center – The Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) provides military members and their families information and referral, education, and one-on-one assistance, at no expense. Landrum works closely with the FFSC by assisting with resume writing and interview preparation and attending job fairs hosted by the FFSC.

Whether it’s assisting a service member with transitioning into the civilian workforce, or aiding a military spouse with finding a job in a brand new city, Landrum assists all former military services members and their families with finding the “perfect fit” job in the industry and community they love. Find a fulfilling career through Landrum here.
